Helen –
I joined Martha’s beginners class with no prior knowledge , I progressed from “it’s nearly straight “ and “where is the on switch?” to wash bags with zips and bags with pockets. I returned for the “whatever you want “ mornings where I made piped cushions and a much more complex lined bag . Martha knows everything there is to know about sewing and is warm and friendly, always encouraging. You don’t need to have done it before, you don’t need to bring a machine . You will amaze yourself in a supportive class
